Genre is any type of correspondence in either writing, music, or any other form of art. In this class we talked about genre is the literature aspect. From elementary school to high school the different writing styles consist which could be either a poem or a paper just giving straightforward information. Entering this class I was introduced to different genres, such as technical description, lab report, and also an engineering proposal. The specific genre Straightforwardly affected the content of the assignments. Every task was a different genre, and every kind has its format you must follow.
